This is probably the flagship butcher stall of the whole Atarazanas market in Malaga. It has a great pedigree having been founded in 1931 and also great size occupying 4 single stalls space. There are 4 busy butchers behind the counter, they are all quick, professional and reasonably friendly.
The selection of meat on sale is huge as well ranging from the cheapest cuts to the fines steaks from Galician beef. The assortment includes pig trotters, huge free-range chicken, elaborated marinated chicken and pork skewers, hamburgers, salchicas and chorizos, t-bone steaks and entrecotes of different quality with the fines ones with the best marbling selling for 40 euros/kg, oxtail, kid meat, suckling lamb and much more. You can also get here soaked chickpeas, dry-cured bones, eggs, manchego cheese and fabricated salsas. It is very popular but the service is really quick so do not be afraid if you see 8 people in front of you.
