Anything with shell and nothing else. If you want clams or mussels or anything remotely similar to these, look no further. This is maybe the only stall in the Atarazanas market in Malaga selling exclusively live organisms. Razor clams, cockles, Donax clams, common clams from Galicia, other clams which I don’t know the name in English of, “conchas finas”, mussels of different origin and size. All of the products are usually of Spanish origin, mostly Galicia as opposed to most of the clams seen in Spain coming from Italy or elsewhere. The quality is premium and the prices as well – common clams which you can buy for 6-8 Euros elsewhere cost here 20 Euros/kg.
