The history of this market began in the sixties although the original market had very little in common with the current state after the substantial reform in 2006. It is definitely one of the A level markets in Málaga with wide range of stalls selling everything from meat, fish, fruits and vegetable to herbs and spices. There is also a pleasant cafetería to rest.
