This is the main halal Arabic butcher shop in the Atarazanas market in Malaga. Everything is halal, the emphasis is on lamb, rustical beef cuts, halal chicken and the whole range of Moroccan specialities including Arabic flatbread, pastilla (traditional Moroccan pie stuffed with chicken and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon), olives, pickled lemons, harissa, couscous etc. The stall is very popular and very busy, the clientele mainly, but not exclusively, consisting of local Moroccan community. They own also the opposite stall. I like the food they sell a lot, but I prefer the neighbouring Al-Andalus Sara because they are much friendlier and do not laugh at you for being “guiri” (foreign tourist).
