Some people think that the last truly universal genius was J. W. Goethe. I do not blame them for their ignorance but everyone who knows the owner of the Bar Los Pinchitos José knows, that there is another one, still living in Málaga and amazing his clients week in week out with the widest possible set of skills. He is on his own in the bar serving cold drinks, preparing cocktails, cooking delicious small tapas, cutting ham and chorizo, cleaning everything and doing one hundred other things necessary to run a successful tapas bar. It is truly astonishing and everyone within 20 km should come and see it.

The prices are modest, the small tapas delicious (often seafood of the day) and free to every drink as though we were in Granada and the ambience is local, noisy, chaotic and friendly.
