This stall has been opened recently having replaced a fruit and veg vendor and although it disturbs again a little bit the natural division of the market halls it brings to the market unique range of products. It specializes in dry-cured ham from Trevelez (a village in the Sierra Nevada famous for its hams) which is one of the last bastions of the traditional art of dry-curing jamón without adding any artificial additives. The vendors in Spain usually do not pay too much attention to whether the hams and salamis do or do not contain nitrates and nitrites and it is great that there is finally a stall specializing in the truly natural hams. Apart from that they also vend the wide range of conventional Spanish salami and cheese.

This is our favourite jamón vendor at this moment in the Atarazanas market in Malaga.
